
Tecan Spark 10M
The Tecan Spark multimode plate reader is a high-performance laboratory instrument designed for a wide range of biomedical and pharmaceutical research applications. It excels in measuring absorbance, fluorescence, fluorescence polarization (FP), time-resolved fluorescence (TRF), and luminescence, making it an essential tool for drug discovery, biomarker screening, and molecular diagnostics.
With the ability to perform a full absorbance spectrum scan from 200 to 1000 nm in under 5 seconds, the Spark enables rapid nucleic acid and protein quantification, enzymatic kinetics, and spectral analysis. The Fluorescence Fusion Optics system combines monochromator-based flexibility with filter-based sensitivity, allowing precise selection of excitation and emission wavelengths—a critical feature for FRET assays, fluorescence-based gene expression studies, and protein-protein interaction research.
The Spark 10M model includes CO2 and temperature control, providing optimal conditions for live cell imaging, proliferation assays, and cytotoxicity studies in standard microplates.
