Spinning Disk Confocal 1

The Nikon Spinning Disk/High Content Screening System is a high-speed confocal imaging platform, integrating the Yokogawa W1 Spinning Disk for rapid live-cell imaging and high-throughput screening. Featuring dual spinning disks with 25µm and 50µm pinholes, the system optimizes optical sectioning, minimizes out-of-focus light, and reduces crosstalk in thick specimens, making it ideal for 3D cell culture and organoid imaging.

Built on the Nikon Ti2E motorized microscope, it includes a Perfect Focus System (PFS) for real-time focus stabilization and an incubation chamber, ensuring precise environmental control for long-term live-cell experiments.

The system is equipped with 405, 488, 561, and 638 nm lasers, enabling multi-channel fluorescence imaging, and features dual SCMOS ZYLA cameras for simultaneous dual-channel acquisition, enhancing temporal resolution and spectral separation.

With NIS Elements software, researchers can conduct multi-dimensional imaging, perform automated image analysis, quantitative fluorescence measurements, and kinetic studies, supporting applications such as high-content screening, single-cell analysis, and super-resolution microscopy.
