SEM Quanta 200

The SEM Quanta 200 is an advanced scanning electron microscope (SEM) designed for high-resolution imaging, morphological characterization, and chemical analysis of biological and material structures. Its ability to operate in three vacuum modes (High Vacuum, Low Vacuum, and Environmental SEM (ESEM)) allows for non-destructive imaging of biological samples, making it ideal for pathology, nano-biotechnology, and biomedical materials microscopy. In medical research, this SEM is used for ultrastructural analysis of cells and tissues, cell pathology studies, and the investigation of neoplasms (cancerous growths). It is also critical for microorganism identification and characterization, including bacteria, viruses, and fungi. Furthermore, it provides key insights into medical implants, biocompatible materials, biofilm formation on catheters and medical devices, and the topographical analysis of dental and orthopedic implants. The system supports energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS), enabling elemental mapping and chemical composition analysis of biological and medical samples. Its advantages include the ability to image hydrated and partially hydrated specimens, analyze non-conductive samples without conductive coating, and achieve nanometer-scale resolution for subcellular structure observation.
