Cajal Multi-photon Microscope - 920nm GCaMP
The Cajal multi-photon microscope with a 920nm laser and GCaMP indicator is an advanced system designed for high-resolution live imaging, particularly for neurobiological and microbiological research. The use of this laser wavelength allows for deep tissue penetration while minimizing photothermal damage. GCaMP, a GFP-based calcium indicator, enables real-time monitoring of neuronal activity by detecting changes in calcium levels within cells. This system is ideal for studying brain cell activity, synapses, and living neural networks, providing valuable insights into neuronal processes, synaptic plasticity, and brain function.
