AGRI-1-1- Particle (ZETA) Sizer
The Particle (ZETA) Sizer is an analytical instrument that uses Dynamic Light Scattering (DLS) technology to measure the size of nanoparticles or microparticles in suspensions or solutions. The device measures particle size by relying on the scattering effect of light as it interacts with moving particles, providing data on particle diameter, their distribution, and other parameters like the Polydispersity Index (PDI).The Zeta potential measured by the instrument relates to the electrical interaction of the particles in the solvent, and it is very important for assessing the stability of the system, particularly in microscopic systems and emulsions. This information is crucial in industries such as pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, and advanced materials, to understand how particles behave and to ensure the stability of the systems over time.
