About Us

The Hebrew University of Jerusalem is a leading international center for advanced scientific research.

With more than 20 core research facilities spread across its three main campuses: Givat Ram, Ein Kerem, and the Faculty of Agriculture in Rehovot, the university offers researchers access to some of the most advanced research infrastructures in the world.

These facilities support a wide range of scientific disciplines, including molecular biology, neurobiology, precision agriculture, materials science, personalized medicine, nanotechnology, and biomedical engineering. Researchers from both within the university and external institutions benefit from cutting-edge technologies used in applications such as genomic sequencing, gene expression analysis, protein profiling, viral vector design and production, 3D bioprinting, cellular and tissue imaging, high-resolution chemical analysis, molecular structure determination, and the development of experimental biological and medical models.

State-of-the-art technologies available include cryo-electron microscopy (Cryo-EM), neuroimaging systems, mass spectrometry, flow cytometry (FACS), nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), and X-ray analysis. These are supported by dedicated services for experimental design, data processing, and scientific consultation.

All facilities are staffed by highly trained experts in their respective fields, providing professional support and ensuring optimal use of equipment and technologies. Access to all services is managed through Bookit-Lab — an advanced digital platform that streamlines equipment booking, consultation requests, and overall research project management.
