About Us

The Hebrew University of Jerusalem offers researchers access to state-of-the-art research infrastructure across its campuses, supporting a wide range of scientific disciplines. Key technologies include next-generation sequencing and genomic analysis at the Center for Genomic Technologies, high-resolution light and Cryo-EM imaging in the Bio-Imaging Unit, protein expression and purification for structural and functional studies, and viral vector design and production at the ELSC Vector Core Facility. Researchers also have access to flow cytometry (FACS) for detailed cellular analysis, mass spectrometry for sensitive molecular characterization, and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) and X-ray laboratories for structural and chemical analysis. Advanced nanocharacterization and nanofabrication units enable imaging and manipulation at the nanoscale, while the 3D and functional bioprinting center facilitates tissue engineering and prototyping. Additional facilities across the Agriculture, Medicine, and Edmond & Lily Safra Center for Brain Sciences campuses provide multidisciplinary instrumentation, biological and biomedical models, high-containment BSL-3 laboratories, and neuroimaging capabilities. All these centers are supported by expert scientific staff and are accessible through the Bookit-Lab HUJI system, which allows researchers to schedule equipment, request consultation, and manage their projects efficiently.
