Nikon Confocal A1R
The Nikon A1R+ confocal microscope offers the ability to capture high-quality confocal images with ultrahigh speed and enhanced sensitivity, making it an essential tool for live-cell imaging, super-resolution microscopy, and real-time molecular dynamics studies.
Its advanced hybrid scanner head features both an ultrahigh-speed resonant scanner, capable of achieving up to 420 fps for 512 x 32 pixel frames, and a high-resolution galvano scanner, accommodating pixel resolutions from 64 x 64 to 4096 x 4096 pixels.
This sophisticated design facilitates simultaneous photo-activation, fluorescence recovery after photobleaching (FRAP), fluorescence lifetime imaging microscopy (FLIM), Förster resonance energy transfer (FRET), and high-speed calcium imaging. These capabilities allow researchers to study protein-protein interactions, intracellular trafficking, membrane dynamics, and signal transduction pathways with unprecedented temporal and spatial resolution.
The A1R+ supports multiphoton imaging and spectral unmixing, making it highly effective for deep-tissue imaging, autofluorescence separation, and multiplexed fluorescence analysis. Additionally, its ultrafast imaging capabilities enable the study of vesicular transport, cytoskeletal remodeling, mitotic events, endocytosis, and exocytosis in real time.
With its high-sensitivity detectors and adaptive illumination technology, the Nikon A1R+ is a powerful tool for exploring dynamic cellular processes, optogenetics, mechanotransduction, neurophysiological activity, and phototoxicity effects, providing invaluable insights into complex biological phenomena that were previously challenging to study.
